While writing our own novels, we searched for a tool that would allow us to have a simple, easy way to catalog information, and link (or not link) those bits of information together as we desired. None of the tools we found allowed us to do so. In fact, most that we found forced one to use a waterfall model, where certain details could only be recorded once other details were entered. Most of them also required the use of the word processor built into their software to take advantage of their full functionality. Our tool is designed to bypass these limitations as much as is possible.

Series, books, characters, plotlines, and many other details can be entered into the catalog without any limitations on how they fit together. They can then be linked later, or simply kept as loose pools of information for you to slot into your story wherever you might need it. They can be searched easily to help you quickly find information about your story without having to read back through the entire text.

This software is currently in beta and is, as such, under development. All beta version accounts are free, but as services are developed to a more polished state, the service will eventually switch to a paid model. It is currently our plan to keep a subset of its features free for all users, but that plan may change. It is also our intention to plan our feature roadmap through a process that is directly controlled by the user community as the software evolves.
